Please join us for the 3rd Saturday Cedar Hill Star Party this weekend — Saturday, November18. The 3rd Saturday Cedar Hill Star Party is held every 3rd Saturday of the month at J.W. Williams Park, 1605 High Pointe Lane, behind West Intermediate School in High Pointe. Members of the Texas Astronomical Society of Dallas provide telescope equipment for your use. This month’s event in on November 18th and is free and family-friendly. Weather permitting, general observing begins at sunset and ends at 11 p.m. Solar observing is offered prior to sunset. I am totally against the selling of beer, wine, or any alcoholic beverages in Cedar Hill. I strongly believe, it would greatly decrease the quality of life as we know it. There would be an increase in crime and loitering. As it has been witnessed in several other communities around the metroplex. Not only will this invite negative attention it will also create a tense atmosphere for many in the community. Please do not appove…
