I would like to know:
1) Are the canadates aware and knowledgeable of all laws govering State education of Texas children; and, do they plan to adheare to them?
2) Do canadates plan to focus on the education and timely graduationof all CHISD children or just those of board members and family and/or friends of board members?
3) What emergency measures are the canadates aware of and plan to address within the the first 90 days, if selected?

I would like to know what the new spuerintendent thinks of the AB class schedules currently in use at the middle schools. These are the schedules . These are the schedules where you attend a specific class every other day for 90 minutes, instead of every day for 45 minutes. The theroy is that it is to helps spend more time on a subject and improve TAKS scores.

I am finding that 90 minutes on one subject is FAR too long for a 12-14 year old's attention span, and that half the calss seems to be spent letting the kids do homework. My children (read two) complain they frequently can't remember what they studied when they had a class 2 days ago.
