HPPID Board changes Directors
During the regularly scheduled meeting of the HPPID Board of Directors on Thursday, April 10, 2008, Board President Michael Quildon announced that At-large Director Marlene (Maggie) Kroft-Knedler had resigned from the Board for personal reasons. President Quildon acknowledged Director Kroft-Knedler and thanked her for her long support of both HPPID and The Meadows Homeowners Association. Director Kroft-Kedler was one of the original petitioners which led to the establishment of Cedar Hill’s first public improvement district in October 1998.
Board President Quildon submitted Creekside resident Gerald Andrews to fill the remainder of the term of office of Director Kroft-Knedler. The term of office for the At-large Directorship runs until September 30, 2009. Quildon pointed out that Mr Andrews had stood for election to the HPPID Board for the last two elections. Mr Andews, who was in attendance at the meeting, acknowledged his willingness to serve on HPPID’s Board. The Board voted unanimously to appoint Mr Andrews and to submit his name to the Cedar Hill City Council for confirmation in accordance with HPPID’s By-laws.
A hearty “thank you” to departed Director Kroft-Knedler and ”welcome aboard” to new At-large Director Andrews.
